Michael Miller, MD, is a Johns Hopkins-trained cardiologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Miller's innovative research in heart disease prevention has been widely recognized and published in prestigious medical journals including Circulation, JACC, JAMA, the New England Journal of Medicine and Science. He served on Governor Hogan's Advisory Council on Health & Wellness, is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Prevention Committee, and served on the Leadership Council for the American Heart Association (AHA). He was formerly Section Editor for JACC, the world's premier cardiology journal. Dr. Miller has been a guest speaker at the Annual Scientific Sessions of AHA & ACC, and his research has been presented at notable medical institutions, including Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Columbia, Penn, NYU, Vanderbilt, Emory, and UCLA.
